Annual Japan Tenri Tour
As we have been doing for the past 36 years, we will be going to Japan! Our trip will take us to Nara, Kyoto, Tenri, Tokyo, Hitachi-Shi. The trip includes a 5-day visit to the beautiful southern island of Kyushu with its natural wonders like Mt. Aso, Asia's largest active volcano, and Miyazaki City, famous for its shrines. A day will be spent in the old capital city of Nara, where we will visit the Dai Buttsu (Great Buddha), and feed the sacred deer. We will take shakuhachi lessons with Master Kurahashi Yodo II, visit the great shakuhachi maker Sadao Chinone at his farm in Ibaraki prefecture, and go to the grand Kabuki in Tokyo. These adventures and many more!!

This has been the most economical Japan-Trip on the market for the past 3 decades! The full price (after April 1, 2017) of the 17-Day Trip is $3,900, which includes:
  1. Three meals per day.
  2. All Lodging.
  3. All transportation: bus, train, taxi, subway, etc. (except for exclusion (a) below).
  4. All admissions to temples, gardens, shrines, museums, etc.
Not included:
  1. R/T Airfare, and the one-week JR Pass (about $275).
  2. Alcohol (Optional Expense).
  3. Dry cleaning (Optional Expense).
  4. Grand Kabuki Tickets (Optional Expense - about $110).
  5. Shakuhachi lessons (Optional Expense).
To guarantee a spot on the tour, you should pay 50% of the full price ($1,950), as soon as possible. If you change your mind, a full refund will be sent back until August 1, 2017. If the entire amount is paid — also refundable! — before April 1, 2017, then there is a $200 discount. So, until April 1, 2017, the full price is $3,700.
