KiSuiAn Shakuhachi Camp
We will have our 11th year of Shakuhachi Camp in a wonderful location that we used for the first time in 2007. It will be at the Temenos Retreat Center located at 1564 Telegraph Road (Route 162) in West Chester, PA 19382. It begins at 12:00PM Friday and ends Monday afternoon at 12:00PM. In addition to Shakuhachi players of all levels, Koto and Shamisen players are invited as well, to what will certainly be an informative and rewarding experience! There will be classes and nightly concerts as well as private lessons. More information is available through the Shakuhachi Camp link. Instructors will be Kurahashi Yodo II Sensei, Mutsumi Takamizu, Ronnie Nyogetsu Reishin Seldin, Robert Nyosei Kline, Kurt Nyoshun Findeisen, Dan Gutwein and Jorge Alfano. Alternative Distance Learning

You can also study Shakuhachi via cassette or computer lessons. For the past 20 years Ronnie Nyogetsu Reishin Seldin has been very successful at teaching students (27 States and 6 Foreign Countries). Ki-Sui-An Shakuhachi Dojo is the largest (80 students) and most active Shakuhachi Dojo, outside of Japan.
